I have a few major updates to share this time:

An update on Australia/New Zealand fulfillment
I'm not going to skirt the issue: I have some bad news. To begin with, Aetherworks, the company in charge of the final leg of fulfillment in collaboration with GamesQuest, finally went through the stock after dealing with the backlog from previous campaigns. Two things you need to know:
All orders that can be filled with the available stock have my approval and can proceed (see point 2). I trust these should go forward in the next few days.
One box of The Broken Ones vinyl jackets appears to have gone missing somewhere along the way. I've been trying to figure out how that's even possible (we passed customs and everything was in order), so the most likely explanation is that the box was misplaced. GamesQuest is working with Aetherworks to see if the missing box appears. If it doesn't, things get complicated because that's the item for which we have fewer replacements. Needless to say, I'm extremely frustrated by the delays and the situation, which understandably irritates backers and makes us look bad for no fault of our own. If this is the result of the pros at work, I'll definitely reconsider how we ship games in the future. Unfortunately, our options for global fulfillment from within the EU are extremely limited.
If you’re a backer who should receive a copy of The Broken Ones as part of your order, I've asked that the shipments be held until we're certain this box has been lost. I should find out more about it soon. If that is the case, I’ll try to find a reasonable solution according to the stock we have available (we could recall some copies from somewhere else, so please be patient until I figure it out).
I will update you as soon as I know more.
Other fulfillment notes
Aside from Australia and New Zealand, almost every other backer should have their books by now. I've attempted to address every issue that has been raised (wrong addresses, replacements, etc.)

Overall I’m happy to see that people have been pleased with the books, so keep sharing your loot on social media using the #BrokenTales hashtag so we can see it!
Devir has a large distribution network that includes Spain, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, and the United States. I don't have any other information at the moment, and I'm not sure what their exact plans are, so keep an eye on their social channels for more information.
Also, inform your Spanish-speaking friends who may have missed the campaign!
Broken Tales in Spanish will launch later this year.
The Monad Echo SRD is available

We promised it last year, and while it took a little longer than expected, the Monad Echo SRD is now available under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license.
That means you can take the system that powers Broken Tales and other of our games and MAKE YOUR OWN. You can then sell or distribute it for free without any other obligations (read the License page on the PDF for the full story).
All backers who completed their survey should have received an email with a link to the Monad Echo SRD download. It's also available for free from our store and DriveThruRPG.
Liking the The Last of Us tv series? Oh boy, do we have the game for you. The Dead Air: Seasons Late Pledge is now open. If you missed the campaign, this is the only surefire way to get the game.
Aside from that, I'd like to use a small section of this update to recommend some friendly projects you might be interested in. Stranger Tales is the first, and it's a bizarre TTRPG/Boardgame hybrid involving scary stories and 1980s teenagers. One of the game's Adventures is being written by Alberto Tronchi, the author of Broken Tales.
The second campaign I'd like to highlight comes from our pals at Tin Hat Games. Do you long for the good old days when rules didn’t make much sense? It's finally time to exact your vengeance on a despotic DM! Check out OSR: Obsolete S****y Rules! (fair warning: it’s not for everyone).

In the previous update, I promised a reward for your patience and trust. The day has arrived; let us find out what it is!
Broken Tales is on Role!
It's no surprise that the shipping logistics of Broken Tales were probably more difficult to handle than making the game itself. In order to better plan for the future and see what we can do digitally, we're always on the lookout for solutions that will allow us to offer something interesting to our players that is a little more exciting and useful than plain digital copies of the books.
Enters Role, a relatively new addition to the virtual tabletop landscape.
I backed their Kickstarter campaign in 2020 and tested the platform alongside other contenders in the scene.
So far, Role is the one I've found to be easier to use, with more useful features, and closer to indie developers.
So I contacted them, and they have expressed a strong desire to include Broken Tales in their library. We are excited to join titles like Dune, Fallout, Homeworld, and Star Trek Adventures, as well as more indie TTRPGs like Bluebeard's Bride, Lancer, and others. Role not only includes DRM-free PDFs of the games, but it also includes customized rooms that are already set up with everything you need to play. In our case, all of the Hunters' Sheets and assets you need, soundtrack included, in order to play Broken Tales.
Starting today, both Broken Tales and The Broken Ones will be available for purchase on Role at a lower price than other channels, and they both include custom rooms for online play.
Backers of this campaign receive them for free, based on the books they have supported. You will receive your keys by email directly from Role in a few hours.

Other Shipping News
Several US/Canadian backers have confirmed receiving an email from Quartermaster Logistics asking them to double-check (and, if necessary, change) their shipping address. If you didn't, and you need to change it, please do the following: 1) Check your spam folder; if nothing is there, 2) Please contact me as soon as possible. I can try to intervene on your behalf, even though we're getting super duper close to the actual shipping date (update from earlier today, we're scheduled to start on January 16).
When it comes to Australia/New Zealand, I've been told that the books have arrived at Aetherworks, which is handling the final leg of the shipment. The company, however, has been closed for the holidays and will reopen soon. Hang in there a little bit longer.
Anyway, the rewards are almost there; please let us know when you get them, and if you share pictures or opinions on social media, please use the hashtag #BrokenTales so we can find them!

Non è un mistero che la logistica delle spedizioni di Broken Tales sia stata probabilmente più difficile da gestire della realizzazione del gioco stesso.
Per pianificare meglio il futuro e vedere cosa possiamo fare a livello digitale, siamo sempre alla ricerca di soluzioni che ci permettano di offrire ai nostri giocatori qualcosa di un po' più eccitante e utile delle semplici copie digitali dei libri.
Ho testato la piattaforma insieme ad altri suoi competitor. Fra quelli che ho provato, Role è la piattaforma che ho trovato più facile da usare, con più funzioni effettivamente utili e e anche la più vicina agli sviluppatori indie.
Li ho quindi contattati e non ci è voluto molto prima che esprimessero il forte desiderio di includere Broken Tales nella loro libreria di giochi. Siamo entusiasti di affiancarci a titoli come Dune, Fallout, Homeworld e Star Trek Adventures, oltre a TTRPG indie come Bluebeard's Bride, Lancer e altri. Role non solo include i PDF senza DRM dei giochi, ma anche stanze personalizzate già predisposte con tutto il necessario per giocare. Wherever you are located, I hope your winter holidays were enjoyable (and hopefully not too cold). We have one news and a teaser today, ready?
Shipping status
US/CANADA: I have received confirmation that the books are in the hands of Quartermaster Logistics and they have sent me a sample picture of the proposed wrapping, which you can see below, so things are moving along. As far as I know, we’re still on schedule for fulfillment to start on January 12, but given that the picture is already a week old, I cannot rule out that it might start even earlier. Stay tuned.

I've also received some inquiries about how to change the delivery address: I've been told that Quartermaster Logistics will send an email before shipping begins to double-check the address on file. You'll have the chance to change it then.
Addresses are now out of my hands and I cannot change them directly, so please wait for that email.
I don't have any updates for Australia/New Zealand yet, but the ship should have arrived by now. I'll contact GamesQuest this week to find out where things stand.
An upcoming Gift
I'm excited to tease that something related to Broken Tales will be made public on January 5, and you'll all be able to get it for free. This isn't part of the current campaign, so consider it a thank you for trusting us with this project.
While I can't go into details just yet, I'm confident it will significantly improve your gaming experience with friends near and far.

US fulfilling, the schedule

I have some updates for US and Canadian backers today.
Every other region is fulfilled, with the exception of Australia and New Zealand (as per previous update, the boat is still at sea).
Uhmmmm...
Shipping status
US/CANADA: I have some news, but they’re not exactly the news I wanted to deliver. This past week I've been in contact with several GamesQuest employees to inquire about the whereabouts of the products, whether QuarterMaster Logistic picked them up, and the fulfillment schedule. These details have already been shared with our Discord server, so just as a reminder, if you want a real-time view on the process, I do share most of what I have there before composing these updates.
Anyway, this morning I have received the following email:
“We are still waiting for the shipment to arrive with the US Hub. The shipment is at the port, and they are expected to get into contact with the US warehouse soon but [I] have chased [them] to see if we can expedite the process. The delivery has not yet taken place.
[...]
Unfortunately, the US hub had been expecting the goods to arrive much earlier (mid/late November)*, so the scheduled time for fulfillment we had with the hub has slipped, and with the busy season, we have been informed they cannot fulfill until January at the earliest. The current expectation is for a 12th Jan start, but this is tentative and may move in either direction. I am working with them to try and bring forward the time.”
*It's important to remember that the shipment has been waiting at the dock since at least November 21, and the boat's schedule was known. Why there wasn't transportation to the hub until now is beyond me. The only logical explanation is that all of the transportation options were fully booked, transporting goods that customers had ordered for Black Friday, Thanksgiving, and Xmas.
So, long story short, the books are not gonna be with you in time for Xmas. While this sucks, there's very little I can do about it. On the other hand, we have at least a date to look forward to (January 12).
If things were to change one way or the other, I’ll keep you updated.

Broken Ones,
Please keep in mind that what's left to fulfill is, in practice, a separate process for each geographical area, so I have concrete updates for some, but not for all.
Shipping status
EU: The packages have been confirmed to have arrived in Germany, France, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Poland, and a few other countries. Some of you have sent photos to commemorate the occasion, which you can see below. We're assuming that deliveries in the rest of the EU are going well as well; feel free to join our Discord server to confirm reception.
If your order has a problem, please contact us at [email protected] and we will resolve it.
US/CANADA: We received and paid the pre-fulfillment invoice for shipping to the United States and Canada, so everything is on track. I'm not thrilled to report that our final shipping costs for US/Canada are, on average, double what we requested during the campaign. Nobody's fault: as previously mentioned, things have gotten quite crazy with worldwide shipping since the end of the campaign, for all the reasons you know. We will cover the cost, and you will not be charged anything extra. Keep supporting us, and we'll call it even :)
I've received confirmation that the boat has docked and is currently awaiting an unload booking from Quartermaster Logistics. More info when I know more.
AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND: The ship is at sea and is scheduled to arrive in Sydney on December 13th. I don't have a way to track it in real time right now, so you'll just have to trust me on this.
UK AND REST OF THE WORLD: I wrote a whole another rant but three minutes before sending this I got an update. It says, literally: "Yes, the project is going out this week in the UK". Also all the ROTW orders are marked as "Presented to carrier", which means they are all ready and in the hands of the final dispatcher (Royal Mail, DHL, etc., depending on the destination). Keep an eye on your inbox for incoming tracking numbers.

We’re also happy to report that the Italian copies of the game have reached retail. Here’s proof. It’s a nice feeling to see something that required so much work next to other fantastic games!
Founders Package for the Dead Air: Seasons campaign
Thank you to those of you who have already joined our current crowdfunding campaign, Dead Air: Seasons, on Backerkit Crowdfunding.
The third and final week begins with an exciting announcement: everyone who has pledged for an Early Bird, has pledged, or will pledge at the 49€ tier or higher* will receive a digital package called The Founders Package for FREE, in addition to their rewards and all unlocked Stretch Goals.
