Hello again.

Things are proceeding fast – we’re excited but also super swamped with things to update :)

Before we focus solely on the game, I want to take this opportunity to re-introduce the team to all our backers. I know I’ll run out of characters in the main campaign at some point, and that’s the first section we’ll have to sacrifice to The One that Plots in the Shadows to make space for Stretch Goal descriptions, so it’s good to have it somewhere else too :)

Alberto Tronchi: RPG fan since the beginning of time, has been writing and publishing games with various game publishers. He's half of Black Box Games and the author of Evolution Pulse (A FATE setting, also available in English), Omen (RPG of the Year finalist in 2017), and several other Italian games. He's the author of Evolution Pulse Rinascita, the Monad Echo system, and all Valraven books, published by The World Anvil Publishing.

Daniel Comerci: the second half of Black Box Games, graphic designer, and illustrator. RPG fan, game designer, he's been working on projects such as Kult: Divinity Lost, Shadowrun, Nova Aetas, Sine Tempore, Dungeon Universalis, Warpath, Low Fantasy Gaming, the Remarkable series and many more. He's a long-time collaborator of The World Anvil Publishing.

The World Anvil Publishing: spearheaded by Tommaso De Benetti e Luca Vanin, The World Anvil Publishing is an indie game publisher active on the Italian market since 2017, where it debuted with the Kickstarter of MONAD System + Nostalgia: La Flotta Nomade. TWAP published two settings in the following years (Dead Air: I Giorni della Piaga and Endelstrom) and additional books for Nostalgia: La Flotta Nomade (Raam Scoria, Luce e Ombra, Discendenze Divine, Requiem). We launched Evolution Pulse Rinascita in 2019, and in late 2020 we successfully funded Valraven: Le Cronache del Sangue e del Ferro on Kickstarter. Broken Tales is the third collaboration with Black Box Games and TWAP's first international project. Unrelated (but in friendly terms) with World Anvil, the worldbuilding platform.

Natascia Cortesi: editor for the whole Black Box Games catalog, The World Anvil, and Alephtar Games. Collaborator of other Italian publishers, such as Dreamlord Games, Coyote Press, and Vas Quas Editrice. Natascia also works as a consultant for literary agencies and as a tutor for new and upcoming authors.

Sean Newton: Sean has allowed fantasy adventure to take over his life and is happy that way. He has been a professional writer and editor for about 10 years. Though Broken Tales is the first TTRPG he’s worked on, it’s been a lot of fun. Follow his ravings on Twitter.

Annalisa Zaniboni: Freelance translator specialized in Japanese and English. Passionate about Japanese culture, creative writing, and foreign languages. She is trying her hand at writing her first novel and loves traveling.

Le cose si stanno evolvendo velocemente – la cosa ci riempie di felicità ma anche di cose da aggiornare :)

Prima di concentrarci esclusivamente sul gioco, vogliamo usare questa opportunità per reintrodurre il team a tutti i backer della campagna. So già che ad un certo punto finirò i caratteri disponibili in campagna, e la sezione Team di solito è la prima a venir sacrificata a Colui che Trama nell’Ombra per far spazio agli Stretch Goal.
